The confusing part is "dropping the arms/hands". A lot of teachers say you have to do that at the start of the down swing.
Technically, at some point, the arms, lead arm especially, have to drop relative to the rib cage.
Your lead arm comes up from the rib cage going back, at impact it is back where it started relative to the rib cage. It has to drop. So if not at the start of the downswing, when, and how?
