In the third round of the 2018 Shriners Hospital for Children Open, Cameron Champ carded a clean 5-under 66, getting him to 13-under for the tournament and placing him just three strokes behind co-leaders Bryson DeChambeau and Peter Uihlein heading into the final round.

The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Las Vegas’ only PGA TOUR event, is contested at TPC Summerlin. In 2017, Patrick Cantlay secured his first PGA TOUR win in playoff, beating Alex Cejka and Whee Kim on the second extra hole.

  1. This kind of Club head speed is purely a gift. He naturally has the ability to swing this club at 130 miles an hour, I say this because it looks effortlessly.

  2. He seems to have an ‘all round’ game. Looks like a top 10 player with major pedigree to me… very much part of a new wave of exciting players. It’s good for golf.

  3. For all his power, he'd have got destroyed at the Ryder cup by someone who is way shorter. Poulter for example would chew him up and sput him out like he did to DJ.

  4. Fast hips does nothing. The LPGA on average has faster hips than the PGA tour. It's all arm speed. C'mon, it's 2018…can't we put that to rest? Rory's hips actually slow and STOP because they're too soon and fast. Fast hips were a problem for Tiger too.

    Let's move on.

  5. In the off season or when he has time between tournaments he should implement the forearm style putt that DeChambeau does, if his putting from long distance improves there is no stopping him. Rep for sac bud
