Bubba Watson Golf Swing Analysis – WGC Dell Match Play

Congratulations to Bubba Watson for winning the 2018 WGC Dell Match Play today!

Bubba Watson definitely has one of the most unique swings on tour and is one of the only guys who really still curves the ball a lot around the course.

How does he have all of these unique pieces that a lot of people would say are no good but still hit these shots and win tournaments?

I thought I would take a look at his swing for you guys and explain exactly what Bubba Watson does that is so different and how he makes it all work.

  1. What possible questions could anyone have regarding that swing? We can't even execute a so called 'normal' swing like Adam Scott 😂 On a side note, I've been working on 'getting in the slot' which I think means getting the club on plane while creating torque between the lower and upper body. To say it's made a dramatic difference in my swing is an understatement. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on that in a video one day.

Congrats to Bubba 👍 He definitely adds some character to the tour.

  2. Bubba doesn't start bending his left arm until shoulder height. Adam scott starts bending at hip height.
