Some of your video said its ok for look up when impact. But for me looking up at impact causes some bad results. Sometime i slice it or i lose some clubhead speed or even grounded. Log in to Reply Great tip. I have found a similar way to soften grip pressure. I take my grip and waggle over hand and under hand back and forth a few times. If you do this keeping the movement in the wrist rather than the arms it really softens grip. Plus, when done correctly, it is near impossible to do this with a tight grip. The only way you can is by using the arms which is obvious therefore easy to tell that it is not being done correctly. Best from CT Log in to Reply In order to determine the correct grip pressure, pretend you are a grocery clerk and you are stocking the shelves. You open a case of bagged 16 oz. marshymellows and take them out one-by-one, being careful to hold each bag gently and lightly. If you are gripping the bag of marshymellows too hard, they will become smashed and turn into marshymellow creme. This is NOT what you want. You want the marshymellows to retain their spongy, cylindrical form. The only way to do this is to hold the bags gently without squeezing as you place them on the shelf. Now, holding the golf club in this same manner will give your hands and arms the spongy feel and your golf swing the wide cylindrical arc needed to play your best. The next time your are at your local store, "check out" some of these bagged marshymellows for yourself. Log in to Reply very well Log in to Reply I was a huge slicer of the ball until I watched this video absolutely amazing what a simple thing was causing it, I thought it was my swing but was told it definitely wasn't. My Dad at the start told me to lighten the grip pressure and worked a treat but fell into old habits again. Watched this video and religiously use this routine before every shot. If you hit the ball just a little out of perfect the club face will turn, as is what happens to me all the time. I have trouble holding to loose with all the clubs.
