Great tip!!! how can I work on not popping so many of my driver hits? Nice tip gents. Keep up the good work. super, thanks Sweet & simple, great tip, thanks chaps… Sweet & simple, great tip, thanks chaps… Nice simple tip. Is an issue for me. Will look to bring into PS routine. Thanks Perfect help. As usual another good golf instruction 🙂 anyway i have a question for you. 1st, how to maintain good rhythm in golf swing ? 2nd how to prevent look up when impact? Some of your video said its ok for look up when impact. But for me looking up at impact causes some bad results. Sometime i slice it or i lose some clubhead speed or even grounded. Hope you'll solve my problem. Thanks piers andy cheers ! Adityo, indonesia Biggest gripe for me this is !! my practice swing my grip pressure feels really nice and relax but tenses up big time during my actual golf shot ! must be a mental I reckon… great tip guys, going try that tonight along with the waggle .Sometimes I feel my arms get tension in them once standing over the ball, will the waggle help with this. Great tip. I have found a similar way to soften grip pressure. I take my grip and waggle over hand and under hand back and forth a few times. If you do this keeping the movement in the wrist rather than the arms it really softens grip. Plus, when done correctly, it is near impossible to do this with a tight grip. The only way you can is by using the arms which is obvious therefore easy to tell that it is not being done correctly. Good tip as when I grip it too tight I don't have a good swing there is a lot of crap out there on golf videos ,you guys do good stuff keep up the good work Hey guy's a question for you, I have tried various grips, interlocking, vardan and baseball, I prefer the baseball grip, but I still feel that the golf-club feels lose in my hands, would it be worth my time increasing the girth of the handle by wrapping an extra grip on it, the same type that you can buy for tennis and squash rackets? Great tip guys!! Softening the grip pressure totally got rid of my slice. Keep up the great work !! This has helped tremendously. thank you! Would I hold the club the same w a pitch shot or chip shot? Best from CT In order to determine the correct grip pressure, pretend you are a grocery clerk and you are stocking the shelves. You open a case of bagged 16 oz. marshymellows and take them out one-by-one, being careful to hold each bag gently and lightly. If you are gripping the bag of marshymellows too hard, they will become smashed and turn into marshymellow creme. This is NOT what you want. You want the marshymellows to retain their spongy, cylindrical form. The only way to do this is to hold the bags gently without squeezing as you place them on the shelf. Now, holding the golf club in this same manner will give your hands and arms the spongy feel and your golf swing the wide cylindrical arc needed to play your best. The next time your are at your local store, "check out" some of these bagged marshymellows for yourself. very well I was a huge slicer of the ball until I watched this video absolutely amazing what a simple thing was causing it, I thought it was my swing but was told it definitely wasn't. My Dad at the start told me to lighten the grip pressure and worked a treat but fell into old habits again. Watched this video and religiously use this routine before every shot. Thanks guys 🙂 Yes sir!!!I loosened up my gold grip and I played well. A question I have is do you set the club on the ground or hover at address? Right. I draw and hook the ball and my grip is too tight. So what's the matter with me then? I HIT A BIG HOOK WHEN I GRIP IT TOO TIGHT, I FORGOT TO TAKE MY GLOVE TO THE RANGE AND I HAD TO SOFTEN THE GRIP IF NOT I WOLDVE HAD BLISTERS AT THE END OF THE SESSION, AND OMG THIS IS THE ONE THING I NEVER PAID ATTENTION TO, I ALWAYS CONCENTRATED ON PLANE, POSTURE, GRIP, CLUB FACE AND NOTHING HELPED AS MUCH AS THIS SO MUCH MORE EASIER TO CONTROL THE FACE AS WELL. I tend to grip tighter during the takeaway but loosen it up once I start to set my wrists and it remains loose until after the shot. Is that normal? I feel like tighter grip during takeaway make sure the club travels the intended path Amazing. Started to draw a ball at last. `Found I could hit straight too with just a tad more pressure. Thanks guys But isn't there a point of holding to loose and still feeling the golf club weight? If you hit the ball just a little out of perfect the club face will turn, as is what happens to me all the time. I have trouble holding to loose with all the clubs.
