Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website ( I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

  1. Danny, another excellent video. This certainly is a great way to practice and really helps in achieving a center strike. You mention it on this video, how once you practice this and get this part down, the rest is much easier. Can you maybe do a part 2 video on where to take it from here as a next step?

  2. Hi Danny
I have 3 hybrids in my bag, 2-3-4 mine are Cobra same my driver and 3 wood best thing I have bought.

  3. Its been over 20 years since I seriously played the game! It's like starting over. With your tips and guidance, The most basic things are coming back to me. Also being a senior, I do have restricted motion! Your tips allow me to regain the cofidence to play a much beter game!!

  4. Danny, quick question. In your previous video's, particularly hitting iron shots, the school of thought is to move the bottom of the arch 2-3 inches in front of the ball. Does this apply to drivers and fairway woods? Your thoughts?

  5. I just started golfing in February and I’m terrible at hitting with the driver! You make it easy to understand! I’ll try your instructions this week! Thank you for the videos!

  6. Very useful Danny. I have sent to a good friend and beginning golfer here at the Villages. I will take him to the range to go through this real time.

  7. Just got my first set of clubs a week ago. Great video for a first timer like me.
I've played hockey & baseball and found myself trying to "kill" the ball when I first tried swinging.
This helped slow myself down and now I'm trying to work on muscle memory with just this swing.

  8. I literally watched this video like 3 hours ago, and it worked for me! I never hit straighter or longer in my life not even on fluke hits. (Hit large bucket 112 balls, about 95% long 200-250 marker and straight.) Thanks Danny looking forward to my next round.

  9. Well Danny, I may be wrong but if you don't allow that left foot to come off the ground on your back turn, you are going to end up with a bad back before you make 50. I know about "torque" and all but it really isn't needed to hit a golf ball long and straight. In fact, anytime you feel torque anywhere is a good time to stop doing whatever is causing it. I don't think that you would teach that torque stuff to an old man and then that begs the question, why teach it to a young man?

  10. Those of that have limited shoulder rotation must have the clubface slightly closed at address. Then rotate the forearms thru impact to make square contact. We can not generate enough clubhead speed. I have the 2018 Cobra Max 11 degree senior flex. Any hole over 380-440 I drive 225 straight then next club is 9w160yds or 7w 170yds to front of green pitch on with a 60 or 64 and one putt! (I use the DT Solo/Soft/Velocity)

  11. I frankly love the presentation, makes hitting the driver (at least in a basic sort of way) appear very simple and achievable, even for someone like me. OTOH, there are many YT swing instructors who make their approach look easy and when I try them I still mangle the ball. So I'll need to try Danny's suggestions out before passing final judgment, but I did upvote the video and subscribe to his channel to see what his iron tutorials are like.

  12. Ho man now this makes sense listen to all others by the I take it on the course you would think I’m doing the funky chicken dance

  13. Great vid Danny, nice to see that you only have judgements from 39 Golfing Gods, out of a possible 128,000, You must be pretty good.

  14. To be blunt I’m horrible at golf, but I enjoy it. This is the most basic and simple advice I have heard. I have been told and shown various ways to hit with my driver and have had no success. I have tried this at the driving range with great improvement. Cheers to you sir!

  15. Thank you Danny, another great take away for me for the range. I am getting ready to take my baby bites with driver soon now that I am practically getting consistent on my irons. Danny you are great!
