Malaska Golf // Full Swing – Fire Your Hips – Leg Rotation // What works for you?

Here’s a clip from a recent Ask Mike series exploring how you generate force in your golf swing. Do you intentionally fire your hips, or is your hip rotation an effect of pushing away and rotating your right leg?

If you an understand what’s happening in your swing and why, I believe I can help you improve.

  1. Once again, very very good, clear, and on point. Making space for the arms is interfered with when the hips are restricted as well, IMO. Rotating that leg is a good thought, ….
swinging the left knee, on the other side, helps open the left hip. I hope you address that in another vid….it seems to fit the "mirror image" of that right leg rotating.
you are developing quite a following where I play and practice. Thanks from all of us.

  2. I have been playing for about 30 years and usually hover in the high 80's to low 90's. I've only been watching Mike's youtube videos for a couple months and have been practicing his concepts. Yesterday while playing in a 4 man scramble, I made my first hole in one from about 165 yards! No joke! Thanks Mike. I'm sold on your methods!
