Malaska Golf // Joe Nichols’ Golf Swing // What Joe Taught Me

Of anyone I have ever encountered, Joe Nichols knew the golf swing the best. I may not have understood it at the time, but now it all makes sense. It was an honor to have worked with him as long as I did. Learn what Joe taught me about natural movement, offsetting forces and directing momentum in your golf swing.

At malaskagolf.com there’s an 8-part GOLF TALK series where I explore Joe’s influences on me extensively:

GOLF TALK01–INTRODUCTION TO JOE NICHOLS

  1. Mike, I've come to believe Joe was misunderstood because his illustrator got that takeaway wrong…it shows supination when most of the move's description talks right arm pronation going back.

  2. Didn't Ben Hogan say that if the average golfer would do the opposite of what their normal swing move is, that they would play a lot better ? For me if my swing feels comfortable then it's wrong a normal persons swing is like water it will always try and take the easiest route not the right route, Joe Nichols it would seem worked that out a long time ago. Great video.
