Minimalist Single Plane Golf Swing Video – How to setup and swing.

Learn how to perform The Minimalist Single Plane Golf Swing (MSPGS) at

I invented this golf swing after more than 25 years of experience teaching both conventional golf and Single plane golf.

This should not be confused with the Minimalist Golf swing invented by Kiran Kanwar. This is a far more powerful and easy to perform swing then that method, and provides much more power and accuracy.

Visit my website at for more information and if you want support in learning the method sign up as a member there there is a 14 day free trial then it only costs $9.95 per month. You can also become a free subscriber and access the setup video. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Subscribe here on Youtube to be notified when more videos are released.

Kirk Junge was a Natural Golf certified instructor from 1998 to 2007, and was responsible for answering over 3000 customer questions in the company’s website forum. He is also familiar with many other single plane (single axis) golf swing systems including IMA golf, Big Grip Golf (BGG golf), and the Heard Super Swing (HSS Golf) He also invented the Minimalist Single Plane Golf swing, which is similar to the Stack and Tilt golf swing with a Single Plane setup.

  1. Most hit the ball farther as their path improves and with the single plane setup they also return the clubface square more often. Check out my other videos and you can see me hitting some more shots.

  2. Distance is as far as with the conventional swing. I can alternate between single plane and conventional and on average single plane is actually father, but on perfect shots about the same. I just hit more perfect shots with single plane that is why the average would be higher. From my experience people gain distance with it.

  3. I can appreciate you saying that you invented this swing.. sorry sir but what your doing is the Moe Norman swing with a little variation and also the stack and tilt… I would say that its an in between of the two but you did not invent either… thanks for your time.

  4. Hi Kirk- I just started trying to learn your minimalist swing and love it so far. Thank you so much for sharing your golf knowledge. I have 2 quick questions- 1- Since switching to your swing, I seem to be struggling with hitting the ball off the toe. Do you have any basic suggestions/ideas of what I may be doing wrong? 2- When pre-setting your hips forward, how do you differentiate between pushing them too far forward and not pushing them forward enough? Is there a particular feeling I can look for? Thanks so much!

  5. Kirk, I've watched a number of your videos over the last year and have really enjoyed them.  You do a great job explaining a number of moves in the swing.  Keep up the good work.  I'm a former collegiate golfer who is now looking for a simpler swing because i don't have the time to practice and my body is breaking down ( the dreaded reverse "c")   One question, in this video and others it looks like you set up the ball on the heel of the club at address.  It would seem to me that it's more helpful to set it up on the toe so you are forced to go down and through it and keep the right shoulder under the plane longer.  It is hard to tell, for me, what Moe did as he addressed the ball so far away that setting up on the heel, toe or center was almost irrelevant.  So is their a benefit to setting the ball at the heel.  Is it a camera angle issue?  Again, thanks for your help.  Playing royal country down in August and hoping to hit is straight by then 🙂

  6. Yes it seems fundamentally solid.  But this is a combination of the Minimalist swing from Kiran in Mumbai and Moe Norman single plane.  You have combined 2 'inventions' I don't know that it is a new invention.  Semantics, if it works it works.

  7. Nice movie. However you can make it yourself. Just google woodprix and learn how to do it easily.
