  1. The gaping on all these manufactures new irons is borderline ridiculous. Low spin 7/8/9 irons results in limited stopping power on the greens for the average joe. Distance can be a great thing, but when the result is having such a large gap between iron, is it really worth it? Guess you could retro the lofts, but then is it really worth investing in the new tech. I still prefer traditional lengths, w/measurable gaps, rather than bragging on how far I can hit my 7 iron, etc. Lastly Ping is falling into the TM trap of over saturating the market w/multiple products, many just to similar to existing lines. Combine that w/the price tag for a 7 iron set, who exactly is Ping marketing these new forged irons toward? Certainly not your average game improvement Ping customer over many decades.
