  1. Can you do one on alignment I really struggle with that and am correcting for it causing swing faults

  2. Great series! Me and my wife sat down and watched these during dinner! She actually said she appreciated the bit about do what makes you comfortable and liked your friendly demeanor. We can really see your enthusiasm for the game and love that you shared it with us, thank you.

  3. Wonderful series, Rick! As always, you're sharing details to help us play better and enjoy golf more.

  4. Hi Rick, great videos, I just have a quick question though. Im about 5'4" (kind of short) and have been playing for about 4 years. 2 Years ago I got my first real set of clubs but didnt pay attention to shaft length at all. How important do you think shaft length is in relation to a consistent and comfortable swing? For instance I feel awkward hitting my long irons and I wonder if it has anything to do with the length of the shaft and how the club face is angled to the ground. Any response would be awesome!

  5. What about feet set up in relationship to the pin. I have seen some golfers set a club on the ground pointing toward the pin then stand in alignment to that, is that proper set up or does is change depending on the golfer?

  6. Whoever did the editing and annotations on these videos did a fantastic job. Truly great information. Thank you.

  7. You could argue the closest sport with a similar set up to golf is as a batsman in cricket. When I first started playing golf I really struggled as I played cricket for years… Even today on short chips I sometimes lapse back into a 'cricket batsman stance' with the club too close to my body which results a blade over the green or a shank!!

  8. Just like the the previous video on the proper hold, this was a great help for me at the range and I know it will be of greater help out on the course. My distance and direction was the best and most consistent of my short 3-year golf career. Thank you for this series!

  9. I would not have found this if you did not mention the play list in your live video I only ever saw the intro

  10. I'm just finished watching your series and love it. I know you have the ball and head of the club aiming at the target, but at address where should my feet be aiming in relations to the target; i.e. To the right or at it? I know at finish on your follow through video, my hips should end at he target, but I noticed that I end my belt buckle at what seems to be left of the target. My ball does end up left of the target as well. Am I over rotating? Sorry if I sound confusing.

  11. I'm sure that it's probably related to a swing flaw, but middle of stance for short irons doesn't work for me. I tend to hit screaming low (not skulled) shots that airmail the green. I prefer the ball closer to the logo on my shirt. Feet together at the ball, left foot 4 inches toward the target, right foot appx 12 inches back away from target (short irons).

  12. Thanks Rick, some great advice I put to practice yesterday. Mixed results but felt better in the swing and think results will show soon. in terms of "leaning the body forward", If you are tall, the lean forward seems to come naturally, so I think I over leaned which was bringing bad results. Does this tend to happen with taller people as the lean forward doesn't feel right for me, or am I possibly set up wrong? thanks

  13. Ive only been playing for 3 months,I think I'm bending my knees too much compared to you.

  14. I haven't watched in a while one of your best videos. Great information for a beginner but also a great refresher for an advanced player like myself. I have been mishitting a few of my iron shots on the heavy side and I now realize that my ball position was at issue.

  15. Thanks for watching the video!
