Shoulder Plane In The Golf Swing

The golf club is often going to respond or positively or negatively to how we position key body elements starting the downswing. There might not be a more glaring predictor of ball-striking than how the shoulders move to start the downswing (and backswing for that matter).

In this video we discuss the important guidelines you’ll want to look for in your swing to make sure you are operating from the correct shoulder plane in your golf swing.

  1. Can you guys cover issues that happen when you sprawl-out or widen your stance for tee shots? I am fairly confident when it comes to iron approach shots, but I tend to pull shots on par 3's and I think it may be from taking an aggressive stance where my feet are further apart than usual.

  2. Isn’t the overly level shoulder plane the result of pros teaching us to stand upright and tall in the setup? 😬 So who are causing all these fundamental swing flaws that create generations of poor golfers? 🤔🤔

  3. Can you post video of Pro's avatars like this (with lines through the body, time counts and other parameters) in one short clip? No need for any comment. We can watch them over and over again, scroll back and forth to see exact details. I think it would be better than watching Pro models from V1 app. or other sources.
